My Marathon Training Plan

This is the training plan I have drawn up for myself for getting round the Dark Skies Marathon at Kielder at the end of March, starting from around New Year (Day 5 of Week 1).

This is not drawn up particularly faithfully to any official marathon training plan, it’s just me trying to fit exercise sessions in around my commitments and my partner’s shifts, and according to an arbitrarily decided amount of runs and distances per week – there’s no science or experience behind it. We’ll find out how well it works for me after the event…
